A surprising partnership between our global Lavazza brand and tennis that aims to achieve the perfect blend. This year we again brought the aroma of the finest coffee blends to the blue tennis courts at the US Open as official sponsor of the last Grand Slam of the season. The partnership with the New York tournament will run until 2025.
Since 2015, our passion for tennis brings us to the event to promote values that have always resonated with those of our Group: the venue that hosts the US Open is in fact dedicated to Billie Jean King, an athlete who symbolises the struggle for inclusiveness and gender parity. And the main stadium is named after Arthur Ashe, the African American champion who fought for the civil rights of minorities both on and off the tennis courts.
