This year we have again obtained EcoVadis rating, one of the most highly respected accreditations in international supplier sustainability ratings.

We received the Gold Medal, ranking once again in the top 5% of businesses assessed by the rating organisation’s team of international experts: an achievement made possible by our shared values and the joint efforts of all our employees and associates, together with representatives from our supply chain.

The collaboration with EcoVadis

Our commitment to responsible growth extends across the entire supply chain, as part of a process of dialogue and shared development. To monitor and promote our suppliers’ sustainability performance, we have been working since 2020 with EcoVadis, one of the most highly respected global providers of corporate social and environmental responsibility assessment services.

Our partners are rated on the basis of targeted questionnaires in certain key areas, including the Environment, Sustainable Procurement, Labour and Human Rights. This transparent dialogue gives us a clear understanding of the strengths and potential risk areas involved, enabling us to work together to draw up concrete improvement plans. It’s a journey of shared growth, a virtuous circle to ensure the best possible management of our supply chain.

The results

Looking at the results in more detail, the level in the Environment and Labour and Human Rights areas is once again outstanding. This commitment is confirmed by system and product certifications, while our sharp focus on people is testified by tangible initiatives including the Welfare & Wellbeing and Living Wage programmes, the Global Parental Policy, and DE&I projects.

There has also been significant improvement in the Ethics area as a result of our ongoing commitment to training, internal policy development and the transparent reporting we provide in our Sustainability Report.

Finally, the Sustainability Area covering our supply chain has seen a significant improvement due to our ever-greater focus on assessing and monitoring ESG issues with our suppliers.
